Kirby Fire Department

Kirby FD took delivery of Attack 1 on Wednesday the 24^th, from Siddons Fire Apparatus. Attack 1 was built right here in Kirby right down the road from the Fire Station.  Attack was obtained thru a Texas Forest Service Grant that was awarded to Kirby VFD at the beginning of this year. Attack 1 or (A-1) has a 500 Gallon poly tank to hold water, a 5 Gallon tank for class A firefighting foam. It also has a 250 GPM pump with a 150” hose real along with a bumper line and 3 other hose lines. A-1 is equipped with 4 jump seats that hold SCBA’s, A-1 has the Hydraulic Rescue Tools and cribbing on board for MVA’s. Kirby FD is very proud of its new truck come by the Fire Station and check it out!..
