The Kirby Fire Department offers fire services for the City of Kirby
The Kirby Fire Department also offers Fire and First Responder medical services to Bexar County ESD#11
The Kirby Fire Department currently has 3 engines and a "Skeeter" Brush Truck used for brush/grass fires at the station ready to respond to fire related emergencies. We also have a Utility truck with a moble S.C.B.A fill station,and our technical rescue gear. You can see pictures of our vehicles here.
The Kirby station is staffed, at a minimum, with five State fire certified individual at all times. Kirby Fire Department Volunteers respond to the station as needed for fire response.
The Kirby Fire Department Volunteers meet twice a month for training on the second and fourth Thursdays at 7:00 pm.
